System Administrator Tier II (MSP)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a System Administrator Tier II (MSP). The System Administrator Tier II (MSP) will support Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, Networking (Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, Ubiquiti, Juniper), Microsoft, VOIP, and Azure.

System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Delivering top-notch customer service while resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conducting desktop support activities, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and assisting end-users with technical inquiries.
  • Managing systems and servers, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Configuring and maintaining networking equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Assisting in the deployment and support of security appliances to ensure the integrity of our clients’ data and networks.
  • Collaborating with the Level 1 IT support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Documenting all support activities, solutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
  • When not visiting clients, work from the office providing support services through remote tools.

System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the MSP industry
  • Strong knowledge of desktop and application support experience with the ability to work on your own and provide direct support for desktop/laptop PCs at a high level.
  • Strong foundations for troubleshooting servers at a basic level.
  • Familiarity with networking devices and the ability to interact and do minor configuration changes.
  • Experience with security appliances, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical challenges efficiently.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
