We are seeking a System Engineer to support our client in Rochester, NY. In this role, you’ll manage and support Microsoft technologies, virtual environments on Azure and VMware, as well as remote access solutions like VPN and Microsoft Intune. You’ll also provide technical support for network connectivity, firewalls, and disaster recovery solutions.
System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Key Responsibilities:
- Support Microsoft applications, Windows Server, M365, Azure, and VMware environments.
- Implement and manage VPN and Microsoft Intune for remote access.
- Maintain and monitor computer systems, network infrastructure, and security.
- Provide support for WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Document processes and track time/expenses in ConnectWise.
System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Qualifications:
- IT certifications such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, CCNA, or VMware VCP are a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience with ITGlue, CyberCNS, Vijilan, and ConnectWise Automate is a bonus.
