System Engineer – Hybrid Work Model Responsibilities:
- Lead IT infrastructure design and deployment, covering cloud, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and network architecture.
- Administer and optimize cloud environments, focusing on Microsoft Azure or similar platforms.
- Implement and troubleshoot firewall and network security to protect client systems.
- Provide expert support for complex issues, ensuring quick and efficient resolution.
- Collaborate with clients to assess IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Oversee IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and installations, from start to finish.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system setups and client environments.
System Engineer – Hybrid Work Model Requirements:
- Experience working for an Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Proficient in VMware (vCenter, multi-host) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong in server configurations, storage, and network routing/switching.
- Experienced with Microsoft Azure and cloud tech.
- Skilled in managing firewalls/switches (Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Meraki, etc).

- Salary $90,000 to $100,000
- 90% remote and 10% client visits in San Jose, CA area
