A leading Managed Services Provider (MSP), recognized as one of the Washingtonian’s 50 Great Places to Work, is seeking a skilled and client-facing IT Consultant to join its fast-moving Integration Team. This role offers a mix of hands-on project work, technical leadership, and on-site client engagement across the DC-MD-VA region.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to client sites to lead and support IT infrastructure projects

  • Deploy and troubleshoot complex systems, including servers, cloud platforms, and networks

  • Consult with clients to implement customized technology solutions

  • Monitor and optimize systems performance and security

  • Collaborate across departments to improve processes and align IT with business goals

  • Stay ahead of tech trends, tools, and methodologies

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience in a consulting or MSP setting

  • Strong communication skills and client-facing professionalism

  • Proficiency in:

    • VMware & Hyper-V

    • Microsoft 365 (including Entra, Intune, Active Directory)

    • PowerShell scripting

    • Azure and AWS

    • Networking, firewalls (Unifi, pfSense), and Teams Room setups

    • Linux systems administration

  • Bonus if you have experience with ConnectWise, ScreenConnect, or ITGlue
