A fast-moving, Manhattan-based Managed Services Provider is looking for a System Engineer (Jack of All Trades) to handle client-facing infrastructure, escalations, and projects across NYC. This is not a rigid helpdesk role—this is hands-on IT engineering across cloud, network, servers, and security with freedom to own projects and grow.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and execute small to mid-sized IT projects (cloud migrations, server builds, firewall setups, network refreshes)

  • Tackle escalated support issues (servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, networking)

  • Handle client-facing deployments (site visits around NYC – no overnight travel)

  • Work in a hybrid model: mix of remote, office, and onsite visits (all within NYC)

  • Collaborate closely with a small, senior-level team of engineers to design and implement solutions that actually make a difference

🧰 Tech Stack You’ll Work With:

  • Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory (on-prem & cloud)

  • Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls (SonicWall/FortiGate/Ubiquiti)

  • Networking, Endpoint Protection, Backup (Datto, Carbonite)

  • RMM & PSA tools (ConnectWise, NinjaOne, etc.)

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on IT experience, in an MSP environment

  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, M365, basic scripting, networking

  • Proven experience with infrastructure deployments or migrations

  • Strong communicator who’s comfortable interacting directly with clients
