As a System Engineer Level 2.5 – MSP, you will have the responsibility of maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure of our company, working closely with our team of L2 engineers to ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a background in both on-premises infrastructure and cloud-based technologies, with a firm understanding of networking, hardware and software installations, and virtualization.

System Engineer Level 2.5 – MSP Job Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise to align VMware Best Practices with company’s existing IT policies, workflows, and procedures in design process
  • Designing and implementing, migrating and supporting Windows, VMware/Hyper-V server networks
  • Maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure of our company, working closely with our team of L2 engineers to ensure operational efficiency
  • Deploying and configuration firewalls from scratch
  • AWS/Azure design, migrations and deployments
  • Leading M365 migration

System Engineer Level 2.5 – MSP Requirements:

  • MSP experience is required
  • Understanding of complex multi-site IT infrastructures and coordinating with clients to maintain and improve them
  • Experience in managing hybrid environments, with knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience working and understanding working with VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Providing advanced level technical support for end-users
  • Experience deploying and configuration Window Servers
  • Hands-on experience with M365, P2V, and V2V migrations

System Engineer Level 2.5 – MSP Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary $85,000 – 95,000
