We’re looking for a driven System Engineer (Managed Services) with proven MSP experience to deliver and lead IT projects across SMB and enterprise clients. You’ll work on everything from server refreshes and migrations to VOIP and network implementations — helping clients leverage technology to meet their business goals efficiently and securely.
This role requires previous MSP experience.
System Engineer (Managed Services) Responsibilities:
- Lead or collaborate on IT projects including server refreshes, cloud migrations (Azure, AWS), VOIP implementations, and network builds
- Review project scopes with design and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and client fit
- Mentor junior engineers by providing support and escalation assistance when needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation and update technical resources throughout project lifecycle
- Track and report daily time entries, project status, and metrics such as billing utilization and customer satisfaction
- Deliver solutions across a broad technology stack including servers, networks, cloud environments, and workstations
System Engineer (Managed Services) Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Servers including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Proficiency managing and troubleshooting Network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, LAN, and WAN environments
- Solid knowledge of Cloud environments including Azure and AWS
- Experience deploying and supporting business applications like Logitech, Microsoft 365 email, RingCentral, and similar platforms
- Ability to lead projects involving diverse SMB and Enterprise technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when documenting technical solutions
- Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with project teams
