We’re a well-established Cloud and Managed Services Provider seeking an experienced System Engineer to support our Long Island clients. This is a hands-on role that blends onsite and remote work, focusing on Microsoft ecosystems, cloud platforms, and user-facing support in a fast-moving business environment.

The ideal candidate has previous MSP experience, is comfortable supporting both Windows and macOS environments, and brings deep technical skills across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and virtualization platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 2–3 support across systems, cloud, and network infrastructure
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and hybrid Azure AD/Active Directory environments
  • Support Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows/macOS workstations, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and VoIP platforms (e.g., SonicWall, RingCentral)
  • Participate in server migrations, workstation rollouts, and network upgrades
  • Maintain backups, run restores, and document resolutions using PSA/RMM tools

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of MSP experience in a technical support or systems engineering role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and networking
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware) and scripting (PowerShell a plus)
  • Confident handling escalations and working independently
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing professionalism
  • Experience with RMM/PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Datto, N-able) and documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue, Hudu)
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., AZ-104, MCSA, Network+)
