The System Engineer & System Administrator (Hybrid)-MSP will create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation related to supported systems. The System Engineer & System Administrator (Hybrid)-MSP must have the ability to perform with a high level of autonomy and come with excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills. The System Engineer & System Administrator (Hybrid)-MSP must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The System Engineer & System Administrator (Hybrid)-MSP supports O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and supporting Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) projects.

System Engineer & System Administrator (Hybrid)-MSP Experience:

  • Understand and support 24/7 infrastructure and business-critical applications
  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED
  • Migration experience / Hybrid Cloud and on-prem
  • Knowledge of Exchange (Azure, O365 is a plus), Active Directory, DNS
  • Configure and install various computer and Windows servers
  • Ticketing system and RMM experience (ConnectWise, Kaseya, Datto, SolarWinds, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in Citrix and VMware migrations and deployments
  • Virtualization/cloud computing technologies, specifically VMware and performing P2Vs
  • Level 2 experience in network and firewalls Cisco, SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet, AV, CFS, routing, switching, network access control systems, WiFi
  • Azure experience
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications under the supervision of a more senior engineer
