System Engineer – Team Lead (MSP) Overview:

Due to organic growth, we are seeking a System Engineer – Team Lead (MSP) with supervisory skills and a technical knack. As a System Engineer – Team Lead (MSP), you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality solutions, overseeing the technical aspects of client systems infrastructures, and providing leadership to a dedicated team of junior Technicians, Administrators, and fellow Engineers. Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues, along with your exceptional communication skills, will be essential in ensuring our clients’ IT environments operate efficiently, securely, and reliably.

Previous MSP experience is REQUIRED!

System Engineer – Team Lead (MSP) Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide the team in efforts to create an effective and seamless process designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems solutions
  • Provide expert-level solutions and top escalated support focusing on resolving complex issues related to networking, infrastructure, servers, cloud environments, ISPs, and data centers.
  • Investigate recurring or critical problems, identify root causes, and develop long-term solutions to prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 1 technicians to provide guidance and knowledge transfer.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure solutions for clients, including servers, networks, security systems, and cloud services. *Proficiency in VMWare, Veeam, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Aruba, HP, and Dell Servers and Storage is required.
  • Monitor and proactively tune clients’ IT environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and stability.
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies. Participate in testing and refinement of these plans to ensure clients’ ability to recover from unexpected events.
