System & Network Project Engineer (MSP) Overview:

The System & Network Project Engineer (MSP) will provide day-to-day support to clients implementing projects and deploying new technologies. The System & Network Project Engineer (MSP) will be responsible for modernizing infrastructures, accessing, and building out networks, and providing escalated support. The System & Network Project Engineer must have experience working with AWS, Azure, networks, business specific lines of applications, and virtual/hybrid Servers. The System & Network Project Engineer (MSP) should also have advanced scripting experience in PowerShell or ConnectWise Automate.
System & Network Project Engineer (MSP) Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role as the technical expert for all infrastructure-related designs, implementations, upgrades, and migrations
- Assist in the Design and Implementation of network software and hardware upgrades and migrations (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians in your areas of subject matter expertise (storage, virtualization, Windows OS).
- Identify and drive opportunities to automate repeatable networking tasks including through the creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.
- Configure servers and other cloud components in Azure, AWS, M365, and/or G-Suite (Azure/M365 preferred)
System & Network Project Engineer (MSP) Requirements:
- Experience working in an outsourced IT environment supporting multiple domains concurrently – Must have
- Enterprise SAN Installation/Configuration/Troubleshooting (HP, Synology, Nimble, EMC, Etc.)
- Data backup and recovery solutions (Acronis, Datto, etc.)
- Enterprise Wireless Setup, Administration, and Troubleshooting
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with VMware and/or Hyper-V
- MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization
- Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, and other network appliances
- Coach Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineer on technical decision-making and ticket curation.
