Systems Engineer (MSP – Dedicated Client)

About the Environment:
You’ll support an established organization with over 1,500 users and a wide range of IT needs—from infrastructure modernization to cybersecurity, automation, and cloud strategy. 

What You’ll Do

  • Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.

  • Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and hybrid cloud environments (Azure).

  • Design and implement IT infrastructure upgrades and process improvements.

  • Configure and maintain secure networks (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).

  • Participate in automation initiatives and improve system documentation.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support, working closely with internal users and IT leadership.

  • Assist with compliance, backups, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and leadership as part of your professional development path.

Ideal Experience

  • 5+ years in IT roles, including 2+ years in an MSP or consulting environment (required).

  • Proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, and M365 (Intune, Exchange, SharePoint).

  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD and hybrid cloud deployments.

  • Strong background in VMware and/or Citrix environments.

  • Working knowledge of scripting tools like PowerShell a plus.

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls).

Compensation & Perks

  • Base salary: $85,000

  • Year-end performance bonus
