The Systems Engineer (best described as a Level 2.5) will help lead infrastructure improvements, cloud migrations, and technical initiatives that directly support this next chapter of growth. Systems Engineer (Tier 2.5) – Managed Services/ Hybrid Work Job Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise to align VMware Best Practices with company’s existing IT policies, workflows, and procedures in design process
  • Designing and implementing, migrating and supporting Windows, VMware/Hyper-V server networks
  • Maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure of our company, working closely with our team of L2 engineers to ensure operational efficiency
  • Deploying and configuration firewalls from scratch
  • AWS/Azure design, migrations and deployments
  • Leading M365 migration

Systems Engineer (Tier 2.5) – Managed Services/ Hybrid Work Requirements:

  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is required
  • Understanding of complex multi-site IT infrastructures and coordinating with clients to maintain and improve them
  • Experience in managing hybrid environments, with knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience working and understanding working with VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Providing advanced level technical support for end-users
  • Experience deploying and configuration Window Servers
  • Hands-on experience with M365, P2V, and V2V migrations
