Systems Engineer (Tier 2.5) – Managed Services/ Hybrid Work Job Duties:
- Provide technical expertise to align VMware Best Practices with company’s existing IT policies, workflows, and procedures in design process
- Designing and implementing, migrating and supporting Windows, VMware/Hyper-V server networks
- Maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure of our company, working closely with our team of L2 engineers to ensure operational efficiency
- Deploying and configuration firewalls from scratch
- AWS/Azure design, migrations and deployments
- Leading M365 migration
Systems Engineer (Tier 2.5) – Managed Services/ Hybrid Work Requirements:
- Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is required
- Understanding of complex multi-site IT infrastructures and coordinating with clients to maintain and improve them
- Experience in managing hybrid environments, with knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Extensive experience working and understanding working with VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Providing advanced level technical support for end-users
- Experience deploying and configuration Window Servers
- Hands-on experience with M365, P2V, and V2V migrations
