Technical Account Manager (MSP/ConnectWise)

We are established and award-winning managed IT services provider is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join its growing team. For over 30 years, this team has supported more than 2,500 clients with a proactive and strategic approach to IT—especially in the manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and food & beverage industries.

This hybrid role blends account management, technical consultation, and strategic planning. You’ll partner directly with C-level executives to align IT with business growth, while collaborating internally with engineering and sales.

Previous MSP experience is REQUIRED.

Technical Account Manager (MSP/ConnectWise) Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess technical needs and business goals
  • Develop and present IT roadmaps that drive operational success
  • Build trusted client relationships and serve as their strategic advisor
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across infrastructure and systems
  • Work cross-functionally with technical teams to ensure solution delivery
  • Lead conversations around budgeting, cybersecurity, cloud migration, and scalability

Technical Account Manager (MSP/ConnectWise) Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working in an MSP
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with executive stakeholders
  • Proven ability to guide IT strategy discussions and drive technical planning
  • Local to the southwest suburbs of Chicago
