Technical Account Manager / Project Manager – MSP

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager / Project Manager to join a well established Managed, Cloud, and Security service provider based in Northern Virginia. The Technical Account Manager / Project Manager will be joining a company with a collaborative work environment and an emphasis on customer service, innovation, and employee development.

The Technical Account Manager / Project Manager will primarily be working with select clients to develop scalable IT strategies for short and long-term growth. The IT Technical Account Manager / Project Manager is responsible for engaging with C-levels to roadmap technology for infrastructure projects. The Technical Account Manager / Project Manager will ideally have an engineering background looking to take on more of a consultative role.

Technical Account Manager / Project Manager – MSP Responsibilities:

  • Meet with client success team to understand project scope, estimates, and goals.
  • Responsible for new client onboardings, client management, and alignment to industry best practices
  • Develop, build and cultivate long-term relationships with key management within your clients’ organizations
  • Staying in scope and interfacing with client and internal teams when scope changes
  • Provide, accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of all technical client project plans
  • Consult with your clients and teammates to strategize technology infrastructure solutions, including hardware, software, network architecture, and systems processes that will achieve your clients’ business goals

Technical Account Manager / Project Manager – MSP Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience acting as an IT Services Consultant/Advisor
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, AD, o365 Administration/migrations, Azure, Vmware or HyperV,
  • 3+ Experience working for a Managed Service Provider Required***
  • Experience roadmaping technology and projects
  • Previous experience in computer engineering, architecture, or other related fields
  • Solid understanding of networking, hardware, and software
