Technician Engineer Support (MSP)

We seek a Technician Engineer Support (MSP) to join one of our Managed Services Providers in Chicago. The Technician Engineer Support (MSP) will deliver the White Glove experience to clients and perform the highest performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission-critical systems and infrastructure.

The Technician Engineer Support (MSP) candidate will be crucial in handling escalated issues onsite and remotely. The Technician Engineer Support (MSP) candidate MUST have MSP experience and be technically knowledgeable in O365 and VMware environments. The candidate should also understand basic networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, Mail Transport, IP Troubleshooting, DFS, etc. The Technician Engineer Support (MSP) candidate will identify methods and solutions and provide a high level of service to all clientele.

Technician Engineer Support (MSP) Requirements:

  • ***2+ years Experience working with a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED***
  • MS Window Server 2016-2019 configuration and deployment
  • Windows systems design of A/D and GP, including experience working with utilities, scripting languages, and systems security used in Windows environments
  • Hyper-V and VMware virtual server environment, P2Vs
  • ConnectWise Manage experience REQUIRED
  • Server disaster recovery and data backups
  • O365 administration with domain synchronization
  • Active Directory and Group Policy creation
  • Knowledge of Cisco/SonicWall/ Aruba
  • Implementing and configuring network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
  • Cisco Networking, CLI, Configuration knowledge/ experience
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, W.A.P.s, VPNs, and other network appliances
  • Azure & A.W.S. administration and support
  • Ability to perform end-to-end troubleshooting in the storage, server, network, or anywhere in between

Technician Engineer Support (MSP) Salary + Benefits:
