We are seeking a Tier I Microsoft Server Support Specialist.

The Tier I Microsoft Server Support Specialist will work with a 400 employee Cloud & Hosting, Data Center based in Long Island that has been in business since the late 90’s.  Tier I Microsoft Sever Support Specialist candidates that have experience supporting multiple external clients or have worked in a NOC are encouraged to apply.  

The Tier 1 Microsoft Server Support Specialist will work hands-on with other Senior level Engineers in an effort to help increase skills and gain promotions quickly.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory: build and design small to medium AD, bring up Domain Controllers, 2008R2
  • Lock down user’s machines, deploy software, design logon/logoff scripts, Printer management
  • DNS, DHCP — forwarders, scope overlaps, lease expirations, DNS problems
  • Exposure to Microsoft Exchange versions 2007/2010
