We are now working with a consulting firm looking for full time Tier 2 Microsoft Specialist for a fast paced exciting job. The Tier 2 Microsoft Support specialist will be providing support and upgrades of cutting edge hardware and software for clients in the New York City area. This is a permanent, salaried position complete with excellent health benefits, 401(k) and quality of life. Core business hours are 10am to 4pm, but Tier 2 candidates must have their PDA devices turned on from 8am to 7pm.
If you have experience working for an IT company, supporting multiple environments or working for a Managed Services Provider, you are encouraged to apply.
Qualified Tier 2 Microsoft Specialist candidates must include at least 3 years in the following:
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- Strong Active Directory
- MS Exchange 2003/2007/2010
- Sonicwall Firewalls
- Backup Exec/Acronis/AppAssure
- Candidate should additionally posses the following:
- Citrix Xen Server/Desktop
- VMWare
- Candidate must have a car and license in good standing, and will travel (almost) daily to clients withing 15 miles of office in Westchester.
A Cell phone and laptop are provided. Will reimburse for all testing, certifications and studying materials. Kaseya/ConnectWise experience a plus!!
