Tier 3 Escalation Engineer & Architect (MSP)

We are currently looking for a strong Tier 3 to join our team and spend 80% of your time in the support/escalation capacity and 20% of your time in a design/deployment capacity. This position will work with our team to consult, design, implement, and support advanced solutions from vendors like VMWare, Nutanix, Azure VDI, Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL, Microsoft, and others. The Tier 3 Escalation Engineer & Architect (MSP) must be well-versed in VMware implementation and support along with complex networking and support.
Tier 3 Escalation Engineer & Architect (MSP) Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, administration, installation, and troubleshooting
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role within an MSP or IT consulting environment.
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.
- In-depth expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, application architectures, and integration methodologies.
- Strong communication and consultative skills in order to explain technology solutions to technical and non technical people
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or similar, are highly advantageous.
