Client Technology Advisor (MSP)
Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid – Partial WFH)
Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 + Bonuses + Full Benefits

What You’ll Do:
As a Client Technology Advisor (MSP), you’ll become a trusted technical partner to our clients—owning the documentation, evaluation, and lifecycle management of their technology environments. You’ll play a critical role in identifying gaps, ensuring standardization, supporting roadmaps, and aligning IT strategy with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Document client environments using standardized discovery methods (remote, in-person, interviews).

Routinely assess client infrastructure against internal standards and make improvement recommendations.

Maintain technical roadmaps in collaboration with vCIOs and the Client Strategy team.

Work cross-functionally to support internal teams with client-specific technical knowledge.

Implement standards through system configuration and direct project involvement.

Support the creation of Technology Business Reviews and strategic client reporting.

Contribute to internal standards development via the Operations Standards Committee.
What You Bring:

MSP experience is required – you’ve worked directly with SMB clients and understand the fast-paced, high-touch nature of managed services.

Strong background in systems and network administration.

Experience in technical consulting with business process awareness.

Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft cloud services: M365, Azure, Entra ID, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune.

Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, VoIP, identity management, and general network infrastructure.

Understanding of frameworks such as ITSM, ITIL, NIST, or CIS is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence working with business leadership.
