The primary role of the vCIO / Technical Account Manager (MSP) is to develop and maintain business relationships with selected clients in order to strategically plan and combine the client’s technology alignment needs with their business goals. The vCIO / Technical Account Manager (MSP) collaborates with and advises clients’ IT departments and performs the same functions as a conventional CIO. The duties include formulating strategic IT goals, planning the IT budget, digital transformation, analyzing and reworking business processes and facilitating technology changes.

vCIO / Technical Account Manager (MSP) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis – The Client’s business, operations, and use of technology.
  • Standards Alignment
  • Lifecycle budgeting
  • Technology Business Review (QBR)
  • Review of reactive tickets
  • Creation of a client meeting agenda
  • Proposal requests from the I.T. Architecture team
  • Creation of a Technical Roadmap from the Architecture Team and Technical Alignment Manager input
  • Initial creation of User Forms
  • Perform the Kickoff Meetings
  • Owns the business relationship

vCIO / Technical Account Manager (MSP) Salary + Benefits:

  • $90,000 – $100,000
