We are looking for a Virtual CTO to work for an IaaS and SaaS Hosting company located in Manhattan. This is a company that is approaching 20 years of providing support to financial services firms and marketing agencies in NYC. This firm offers excellent benefits, rewards creative thinking and completed projects with bonuses. The Virtual CTO should have experience supporting Microsoft environments in addition to having a strong grasp of VMware technologies.
Virtual CTO – Microsoft Job Duties and Experiences Required:
- Lead system admins in implementations and IT strategy working with business owners
- Exchange 2007/2010 migration experience
- Migration experience: MS Server 2003 to Server 2008
- Familiarity with virtualization requirements, including VMWare, and able to translate technical requirements working with customers
- Server maintenance and support, including MS Virtual Server Solutions
- Leverage new Cloud technology to onboard new companies
- Data backup and recovery
- Troubleshooting and scripting
- Project management experience
