vCIO / Solutions Engineer

Meldon is a vCIO / Solutions Engineer with strong MSP experience dating back to 2016, having steadily worked his way up through multiple roles and proving strong long-term growth in the channel. He is currently with Link High Technologies, where he was promoted from Project Engineer into a Solutions Engineer / Service Delivery leadership role, showing the company’s trust in both his technical ability and client-facing presence. Today, he operates in a strategic capacity focused on solution design, client advisory, project planning, and service leadership rather than day-to-day wrench turning. He regularly meets with clients to discuss roadmaps, business needs, upcoming initiatives, and technology strategy, while also handling kickoff calls, building SOWs/proposals, and identifying upsell opportunities. He leads a team of 5 direct reports across project delivery and support functions, helping align internal execution with client expectations and business goals. Technically, he remains strong enough to step in when needed, with experience across M365 administration and migrations, Windows environments, Hyper-V, hosted VMware, Azure, and firewall solutions including SonicWall, Meraki, and Fortinet. He also serves as an escalation resource and coaches engineers through higher-level issues when necessary. Personality-wise, he comes across calm, engaging, direct, and polished—someone who builds trust quickly with both clients and internal teams.
