Geoffrey is a highly technical Project / Escalation Engineer and Team Lead with MSP experience dating back to 2011, including a 10-year tenure at one firm where he grew from field technician into a senior project and systems engineer. Most recently, he has been with IronEdge Group since 2023, where he operates as the “go-to” escalation point across the entire company - the person brought in when no one else can solve an issue. He leads a team of 6 project engineers while remaining deeply hands-on, owning complex escalations, building solutions from scratch, and driving full project delivery across infrastructure, cloud, and networking environments.
His background is extremely well-rounded, having done everything from cabling and fiber work early in his career to advanced Azure architecture, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Citrix environments, and full network rebuilds. He has led large-scale M365 and Exchange migrations (including greenfield builds), Azure migrations and hybrid environments, AVD deployments, and complex data and SQL-related solutions, often stepping in to take over projects mid-stream and get them back on track. On the networking side, he has strong experience with SonicWall, Fortigate, WatchGuard, Ubiquiti, and Ruckus, including VLANs, zero-trust setups, and full network design and troubleshooting. He is also very client-facing, involved in discovery, solution design, SOW creation, and advising clients on best practices and improvements. Personality-wise, he is upbeat, passionate about technology, and very engaging—he enjoys digging into problems and figuring things out, even when the answer isn’t immediately clear. He is currently exploring new opportunities due to company changes following an acquisition.
